His story
Luca took one rafting trip through Browns Canyon with two friends and came back the next spring to learn the river himself. Three seasons later he had his own stretch of rapids memorised by heart. At twenty-five he is the guide the outfitter saves for the hard water.
He lives out of a truck from April to October, sleeps on the sand when the nights are warm and knows every side canyon with a pool at the end. He talks constantly on the water and goes quiet, finally, at camp when the fire is lit.
